Although KLS is not specifically grounded in any genre or style we have and will continue to aggressively meadow lark and/or grind in a world where Post punk,Psychedlia, free jazz, free noise, country, 60's and 70's pop, no wave, death metal and musique concrete ,never meet. Initially outta Miami and part of the same scene that sparked HarryPussy, Chickenhead, LosCanadians, StunGuns, Great White and Cavity. We made a home at ChurchillsHideaway ( once a wondrous dive bar) . 14 years on I and PriyaRay have successfully reformulated following her tragic spinal injury in 99 and our bassist Andrew Ross Powell's ( StunGuns, StraightYouth) death in 2003 (both in Atlanta Ga.). The current line up re-sized in the East Bay this year and is currently morphing.
